Higher Education Research

HEDC is one of the top ranked education research departments in New Zealand and has been engaged in the study of Higher Education for 31 years. Our field focuses on tertiary education and our research in this area aims to contribute to knowledge and improve the quality of educational experiences through systematic inquiry into national systems, policy, philosophy, management, teaching, learning and curriculum.
