Overcoming learning challenges related to cultural differences

This two-hour workshop aims to help international students learn more effectively at Otago. We will identify culture-specific learning challenges experienced by Otago students; raise students' awareness of their own cultural perspectives; identify possible tensions with local cultures of learning; and suggest strategies for overcoming the learning challenges of cultural difference.
