The Student Learning Centre presents workshops for postgraduate students in four key areas. These workshops are repeated throughout the year and cover some of the following topics. Introducing the Research Journey
:
An introduction to the postgraduate research journey, including cracking the start-up code, planning your thesis, and writing a proposal.

Writing the thesis:
An introduction to writing your thesis including a focus on your literature review

Completing your thesis:
A range of workshops including preparing for academic careers, publishing and cracking the finishing code.

For support and to enable you to excel in any aspect of your study, postgraduate students are welcome to organise individual consultations with Learning Centre staff.

The SLU reference library contains a number of resources to support Postgraduate students.

Workshops offered by Information Technology Services
Student training on such programs as Endnote, Word, Powerpoint and SPSS.


Peer support
Information on setting up postgraduate peer-support groups.
