CICERO

Collaboration in Interprofessional Clinical Education Research at Otago (CICERO)

CICERO aims to share ideas on health professional education research interests, offer expertise where needed/wanted, and identify synergies that might benefit from collaborative research approaches within health sciences in Otago.

CICERO 2

CICERO 2 took place in Dunedin on Tuesday 16 November 2010, with around 40 participants. The programme included sessions on the mechanics of research and key subject areas, as well as allowing time for researchers to discuss with each other ideas and work in progress. There was also an introduction to CICERO's web community (www.otago.ac.nz/cicero) which now has around 50 members, and is being used to support an increasing number of research projects.

CICERO Colloquium February 2010

Almost 60 staff from across the University attended the inaugural colloquium for clinical education researchers held in Dunedin on Wednesday 10 February 2010.

The colloquium sparked some positive ideas for development in this area, and since then, the management group has been working on developing a web community and the next colloquium. If you're interested in knowing more about the network, please email karin.warnaar@otago.ac.nz

For more information about who's interested in which aspects of clinical education, or to sign up for one of the Special Interest Groups proposed at the Colloquium, see our Research Interests page.
