About
Introduction
The New Zealand Law Students’ Journal (NZLSJ) is a student initiative. We have established a student run institution that publishes the work of New Zealand law students to readers all around the world. It has introduced capable students to the world of academic publication and makes a valuable contribution to the literature of legal systems.
Objectives of the NZLSJ
- To provide an opportunity for able law students from throughout New Zealand to meaningfully contribute to the world of legal research. The NZLSJ seeks to disseminate valuable perspectives on legal issues facing New Zealand and the world.
- To encourage New Zealand law students to undertake academic research. The NZLSJ seeks to provide an avenue for the publication of excellent work which will encourage future research of high quality.
- To provide a medium for students to be involved in the publishing process. Management will be left entirely in the hands of students. The NZLSJ recognises the value of this exposure for the higher development of law students.
- To satisfy a niche market in New Zealand jurisprudence by publishing academic scholarship undertaken by New Zealand law students. The NZLSJ recognises that New Zealand law students offer a unique and vibrant perspective on the world.
